AWESOME BOOK TO READ HORNCASTLE SUITCASE TELLS OF A FAMILYS LIFE AROUND NELSON AND KARAMEA
Hi Debbie…thanks for your comment, I agree, “Horncastle’s Suitcase” is an excellent read and also an extremely honest and personal insight into one man’s struggle with alcoholism and depression.
Thanks all of you that have read Horncastle Suitcase, give it to a person that has lost there way, it will be back in book shops soon. Google Horncastle Suitcase and catch up on the latest news, reveiws and blogs.
Graeme Horncastle
G’day Graeme,
Thanks for the comment.
I e-mailed you the following message on January 20, 2012, but it bounced for some reason…
Just a quick note to say how much I enjoyed reading “Horncastle’s Suitcase.” I’ve been living in Karamea for 10 years now and love it, but life here is certainly challenging…making a living here is still pretty hard going, but we get by.
If you’re ever in Karamea, drop in for a cuppa tea.
Hope you have a better year in ChCh in 2012 and that the Earth settles.
Regards from Sunny Karamea,
Paul Murray.

***Welcoming Heaphy Track MTBers/Trampers to Sunny Karamea***
“Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one’s lifetime.” Mark Twain.
